The Springfield Chapter of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Citizens' Academy Alumni Association (FBISCAAA) is a community-based organization, distinct and separate from the FBI. It is designed to promote a safer community through community service projects and a process of educating business, labor, media, medical, minority, religious, government, senior citizens, and other community leaders about law enforcement, with particular emphasis on the mission, resources, and limitations of the FBI. Working with volunteer leaders of FBI Citizens' Academy Alumni the FBISCAAA promotes the importance of FBI Citizen Academies and FBI CA Alumni organizations as community ambassadors educating local communities about federal law enforcement issues and challenges.
